You Are Here: About Us >>> Our History When we first started, in 2007, we were named "Sims UK" and were running a small website with a handful of downloads for the Sims 2. Since then, we have grown quite significantly, changing our name to "Sims UK Downloads" to make ourselves easier to find. We bought the "www.simsukdownloads.com" domain name and some hosting space and began to grow. As the skills of our webmaster have grown, so has the website. From a small site with no special features, we have spent time as both a members only site and a free website, however we are fairly confident that we will now remain free for everybody to use!
